How to Know Christ

There are two types of people walking on this planet: the saved and the unsaved. The saved are the ones who have received Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and have been forgiven for their sins. All men have sinned and come short of the Glory of God (Romans 3:23). Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: (Romans 5:12). Jesus came to redeem mankind of their sins by paying a price that no one else could pay. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. (John 3:16,17).

Salvation is a free gift from God that no money can buy. The Bible says in Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Jesus died on an old rugged cross to pay the price of our sins and rose from the dead on the third day to prove he was the son of God. Then he sent back the Holy Spirit into all those that repent and receive him as their lord and savior. 

If you want to be saved and on your way to Heaven, just pray this prayer, God will hear, and you shall be SAVED:

Jesus, I come to you today just as I am. I was born a sinner and I have committed sins. I ask you to forgive me, wash me in your blood , and give me eternal life. Jesus, I believe in my heart and confess with my mouth that you are to Son of God and paid the price for my sins. I ask you today to fill me with your Holy Spirit and I will live for you as you show me how. In Jesus Name, I AM SAVED. Amen!

Congratulations, you are on your way to Heaven!  You should begin attending a Bible-based Church in your area and read your Bible daily.
